2010 FLL Competition

FLL did it again! On November 13th, 2010 ILITE students were twice as excited to interact with elementary school children. Being the second time, the children were excited to get their hands on the robot and start programming. The ILITE team was very enthusiastic about having the children rise above their struggles. The amount of student involvement seen this year compared to last was the deciding factor on whether the competition would be an official regional competition or a scrimmage. This shows that ILITE’s dedication to the FLL program is incredible. The morning was spent on setting up for the fun day ahead. The teams were then split up into their selected teams and from then on, the fun began. Through this competition, all members of ILITE believed that interacting with children was the most fulfilling experience of their lives. The fact that there was one-on-one interaction between today’s and tomorrow’s leaders was truly spectacular to witness. ILITE knows that these children look up to them as their role models, so therefore the team spends numerous hours of dedication to become the best examples possible. They are the future, and ILITE knows how important it is to guide them in the right direction.
