Business Plan
Although ILITE is happy to have been able to help so many people reach new heights in technology and engineering, we still want to grow and be able to do more. Over the next few years we would like to be able to accomplish the following:
One Year: "Target Goals"
In one year we wish to continue and expand the FIRST Campaign to schools through out Northern Virginia, as well as Washington D.C. We would also like to expand our presence on social networking sites as they have provided us with increased communication that has been extremely helpful this past year.
Five Years: "Target Goals"
In five years we want to have brought the FIRST message to over 15,000 lives through our expansion in community events, our FIRST campaign, and outreach. As well as increase the amount of scholarships graduates from ILITE receive to make college more obtainable. We would also like to see an increased amount of alliances and expansion with local teams to help build not only our team, but neighboring teams up as well. In five years we would like to have one of our robots win a regional competition.
Ten Years: "Target Goals"
In ten years we would like to have become a leader in the FIRST family, by encouraging alumni to be active participate in FIRST programs throughout the country by creating interstate relationships. We would also like to expand our team into becoming a leader in 3-D design by having a mentor proficient in said field. We would like to also create a video series to help teach other teams. As well as be in a position to be able to financially support the creation of teams that would not otherwise be able to be created.
